Learn how this small town was once home to the Chumash Indians. In the 1830's, it became part of Mexico. Then, in the 1870s the land was purchased by Thomas Bell of San Francisco. Los Alamos was born and soon would be a stage coach stop in 1874. The community grew from there to define this charming town.
